Thai Privilege

Pay once, live in Thailand for 5 to 20 years.

Thai Privilege is a government-backed long-stay visa with a one-time membership fee. No income requirement, no investment commitment, no work permit needed — just a fee that buys you years of unrestricted residency in Thailand. It's built for families who want Thailand as a base — for healthcare, education, or lifestyle — without the friction of repeated visa renewals. Membership includes airport fast-track, banking support, and immigration concierge throughout your stay. Best for: patients managing long-term treatment, parents with children in Thai schools, lifestyle relocators who want simplicity over qualification.

Long-Term Resident Visa

A 10-year visa for high-earners, investors, and remote professionals.

The LTR is Thailand's premium long-stay visa, designed to attract wealthy individuals, retirees with income, remote professionals, and skilled experts. Unlike Thai Privilege, the LTR requires you to qualify on income or assets — but in return offers tax advantages, the right to work, and full family inclusion. LTR visa holders are exempt from the 90-day reporting requirement, can work in Thailand, and benefit from a 17% personal income tax cap for skilled professionals. Income earned overseas is exempt from Thai tax for most categories. Best for: business owners, regional entrepreneurs, retirees with pension income, remote professionals working for companies abroad.

Retirement Visa

Long-stay residency for retirees aged 50 and above.

The Retirement Visa is the simplest path for retirees who want to make Thailand home. Two options: a renewable one-year visa, or a five-year visa renewable for another five (total ten years). Both require you to be 50 or older and meet a modest financial threshold. This is the most accessible second-home path for retirees from Bangladesh — lower financial bar than the LTR, no membership fee like Thai Privilege, and well-suited to families looking for Thailand's healthcare and climate in retirement. Best for: retirees aged 50+, families relocating parents to Thailand for healthcare proximity, anyone seeking a low-friction long-stay option.
